MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Feb 19 Observer(s): Hodges-Kluck Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: R4K Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm Observing Summary: About half the night was too cloudy for the primary goal of mapping Halpha around galaxies, but we observed some backup targets. Thicker clouds passed through several times, preventing any useful observing for about 2 hours total. The north/south nodding was seen from UT 05:07-05:17 and 05:20-05:33. The target at the time was NGC 2811, which is at 09:16:11.1 -16:18:46. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Feb 20 [6:12:37]
