MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Feb 24 Observer(s): Hodges-Kluck Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: R4k Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Very clear night with no problems. I observed several of my target galaxies in the R and H-alpha filters, as well as a few backup targets during the bright time before the moon set. I also obtained much better calibration data than in previous humid nights. The focus needed adjustment more rapidly in the H-alpha filters (~30 min) than the R filter (~2 hr) for some reason that may be normal but is unknown to me. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Feb 25 [6:21:37]
