MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2015 Mar 28 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec + echelle REMOTE! Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Came in intending to use the Andor slit-viewer to grab a predicted eclipse of one of my objects; Eric suggested that Echelle might still be cold despite the lack of morning fill, and it indeed it was; Tom Holoien graciously refilled as well as opening, and I got the whole night. Hampered by cirrus early in the night, which never went away entirely but abated somewhat. Did manage to wrap up a couple of loose ends. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2015 Mar 29 [5:31:38]
