MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Dec 05 Observer(s): Alper Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Andor Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Beautiful night. The new fiber-optic connection continues to make remote observing a breeze compared to what it used to be. The only issue during the night came toward the end when the winds picked up quite a bit - enough that KPNO closed for a while. We didn't have to close, but there was definitely significant jitter/nodding in the last few hours of data collection. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2016 Dec 6 [6:22:47]
