MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Jun 04 Observer(s): Kay/Moran Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: direct/Templeton Worked for 6.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: A nice, clear night -- temperature was pretty steady. The wind was a bit gusty at times, calm others. In twilight, there appears to be some cirrus on the horizon, so it was probably not photometric. Things worked well except for what appeared to be the nodding problem that we encountered a few years ago. It affected only one field, but we lost a little time investigating the issue (it eventually disappeared). ------------------------------ Submitted on 2016 Jun 5 [4:27:29]
