MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2016 Sep 01 Observer(s): Halpern Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Templeton Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: The conditions were useable most of the night, with patchy clouds a lot of the time. Tracking was excellent initially, but when choosing a target at +63 declination, the minor N-S nodding appeared immediately and persisted for the entire run of 3 hours. Amplitude of nodding was +/-2 guider pixels, producing severely elongated images.
