MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Aug 16 Observer(s): D. Bord, N. Vowell, E. Aufdemberge Institution(s): UM-Dearborn Instrument: Andor CCD (Direct Imaging) Worked for 7 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: After completing first night initialization processes (telescope and guider focusing, establishing auto-guiding, defining Andor camera settings, etc), primary target, V404 Cyg, was observed throughout the night using an R filter produce data cubes containing nearly six dozen frames. Data acquisition was discontinued when target reached HA = +3.3 hours. Telescope and instrumentation systems functioned normally. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Aug 17 [4:54:18]
