MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Aug 23 Observer(s): Clarkson, Vowell, Aufdemberge Institution(s): UM-Dearborn Instrument: ANDOR Worked for 7 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: 1. Brought the system up after lightning shutdown 2. Corrected pointing error when going to V404 Cyg. Curiously, the telescope went to the exact same wrong location as 08/21 (RA, dec = 20:23:11, +33:52:02, when commanded co-ords were 20:24:04, +33:52:02). Relative humidity below 78% for the entire night. 3. Sat on V404 Cyg for about 4.5 hours until target set. 4.
