MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Jan 18 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Andor direct + buckeye FW Worked for 8 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 1:30 until end. Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable, open Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, open End: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, closed Observing Summary: First half was quite good, with good transparency and decent seeing - dark, too. By 1:30 MST or so it was too cloudy to work, so I closed. Remote dropleaf command failed on closure -- see trouble report.
