MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Jan 31 Observer(s): Alper Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Andor Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Minor problem at the start of the night, that the telescope would not slew, but would instead turn tracking off whenever sent to a target. Jessica was able to fix this by cycling power in the RA enclosure, though it took some time and a call to Eric to fully diagnose. Thanks to both for their help! Lost a total of about ~3 hours to this when all's said and done. Other than that, it was a nice, clear night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Feb 1 [6:40:55]
