MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 Mar 26 Observer(s): Fesen and Neustadt Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Templeton Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2-2.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Had problem where telescope nodded North-South every couple of minutes, which would ruin long exposures. Solved by closing dropleaf, which implies wind was the problem, yet the wind only reached 8 mph at maximum. Seeing was great (1 ) until ~9:30PM, where it got not great (2-2.5 ) Closed around 11PM ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 Mar 26 [22:42:07]
