MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2017 May 25 Observer(s): Alper Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Andor Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Winds all night. Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate, Dust Mid: Clear, Winds Moderate, Dust End: Clear, Winds Moderate, Dust Observing Summary: Windy to begin, like last night, but the counts overall seemed to be lower than usual for any given frame. I initially chalked this up to clouds (which were also there), but then KPNO closed due to wind. Jules contacted me from the 2.4 m shortly thereafter saying that there was almost a dust storm and to close up as well. Luckily I had already begun as something felt off! Unluckily conditions never improved, and I was unable to get anything for the rest of the evening. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2017 May 26 [4:27:38]
