MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Aug 30

Instrument: Modspec + echelle CCD

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

A very nice night; a little cloud from time to time but nothing 
bothersome.  Start was delayed a bit by echelle read problem (see 
trouble report).  rslit was hung at the end, restarted OK.  I'm 
running MIS flats in the morning; hopefully someone can turn the 
lamp off during the day!
