MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 Mar 12 Observer(s): Jose Zorrilla Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Templeton Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 1 until 4. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: There were patchy clouds through the night, with viewing conditions deteriorating severely between 2-4 AM. At the beginning of the session, Maxim DL could not connect to the guider camera, prompting an error message referring to an erroneous configuration. After restarting the PC, the problem disappeared. Also, after the first hour of usage, the filter wheel stopped being able to switch filters. The telescope was pointing at the time at a low altitude (~20 deg) target.
