MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2018 May 13 Observer(s): Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec+echelle ccd Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Another fine night. A bit of wind shake south of the zenith from time to time but less so than previous nights. Some cloud in east early on, but that blew away after the first hour or so. At the end of the night I inadvertently hit the exit button in the Owl window -- I think -- and then could not get it restarted. Lost only a half-hour of time at most, in twilight. It would be good to get it going again before taking Echelle off to be sure there's nothing actually wrong with it. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2018 May 14 [4:50:27]
