MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Feb 07 Observer(s): Podjed, Stephanie Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: Templeton Worked for 13.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Really great night for observing, got a lot of data taken and did not encounter any major problems- weather was fairly clear all night, seeing good. When finishing opening dropleaf, had message 'done interlocks estop=off floor=off pier=off tilt=off' but the bubbles beside these terms in the control panel itself were still green/activated. Also, after executing mirror opening, ERROR mirror mirror timeout came up but the mirrors had opened; Reinitialized the MDM 1.3m control panel, tried the dropleaf command again to see if the same message came up & it didn't so proceeded with opening and data taking. Nothing else the rest of the run. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Feb 8 [7:26:45]
