MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Jan 21 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Andor + buckeye FW Worked for 6 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 7 until 9:30. Beg: Overcast, Winds High Mid: Seeing 3+ arcsec, Clear, Winds High End: Seeing 3+ arcsec, Clear, Winds High Observing Summary: Heavy, fast-moving, low cloud appeared around twilight and stuck around for a few hours. About 9:30 it broke up, but the wind stayed high and the seeing was pretty bad all night. Did manage to work pretty effectively anyhow. Temperatures sharply colder.
