MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 Jun 09 Observer(s): Ryan Chornock Institution(s): Ohio University Instrument: Templeton Worked for 8.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Once again, I observed from the 2.4m control room. It was overcast at sunset, but then the clouds partly cleared. There were patchy clouds for much of the night, especially to the east, but there were also some pretty clear stretches. It became quite cloudy again after 3am and I shut down a little early in morning twilight. I had to power cycle the dec controller at the beginning of the night. Fortunately, the only time lost was in twilight. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 Jun 10 [4:25:52]
