MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2019 May 12 Observer(s): Stephanie Hamilton Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: 4k imager Worked for 5 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 8p until 11p. Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: We opened the dome around 11pm or so due to clouds and humidity. Conditions remained less than ideal until about 1am, but we were able to obtain some observations of bright objects We encountered issues of streaking in longer exposures, thought to be related to focus, but ultimately were because the sidereal tracking rate wasn't auto-adjusting ------------------------------ Submitted on 2019 May 13 [4:47:22]
