MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2020 Dec 12 Observer(s): Weil Institution(s): Purdue Instrument: Echelle Worked for 7 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Very bad weather from 8 until 2. Beg: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Mid: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, High Humidity End: Seeing 1.5+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: No telescope problems, minor software issue where JSkyCalc froze, simply restarting the application fixed the problem. Bad weather significantly impacted observations. At the beginning of the night high wind gusts caused wind shake, changing targets and the direction the telescope was pointing fixed this. From 8-9pm there were thick clouds preventing observations and from 10pm-2am the humidity was above the limit. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2020 Dec 13 [6:24:24]
