MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2020 Jan 17 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Andor+Buckeye FW Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: An excellent night, with only a bit of cirrus searly on. By the way, I'm running the VNC to the 1.3m from the 2.4 control room using the new monitor. This makes things very small, but lets you see the whole workspace, including the guider monitor. This is a big convenience. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2020 Jan 18 [7:31:41]
