MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Jan 22

Worked for 1 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity all night.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

I've submitted a trouble report already, but essentially. The humidity was below 75% around sunset so I was able to take flats and comps. However, when I tried to get to a target the telescope couldn't move. I wasn't able to see the cameras inside the dome because firefox crashed. I talked to Katie Weil and Eric Galayda. Eric figured out (Katie too) that the dec drive needs to be reset so the telescope can't move. However, I'm not losing any observing time because the humidity increased rapidly and as of 21:57 EST it's at 92%. I doubt the weather will clear.
