MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Mar 13 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec+templeton Worked for 1 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity all night. Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate, humidity, closed Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, humidity, open 1 h End: Clear, Winds Moderate, humidity, closed Observing Summary: Broken low clouds blowing through in the afternoon, clearing nicely around sunset - but humidity remained high. Opened during a somewhat better hour after midnight while Kitt Peak was open, but then they closed, and our humidity inched upward again, so I closed up. Called it around 4:45 AM MST. No technical problems. Thanks are due to Rob Fesen, who is on site at the 2.4m keeping my dewar cold, and acting as invaluable eyes and ears. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Mar 14 [4:50:30]
