MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 May 11 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: modspec + templeton Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5-2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Another fine night, new moon, very clear apparently, with mostly good seeing. Everything worked well, except Templeton is producing bad pattern noise (see trouble report) which is probably not a problem for photometry or very bright objects but which is a problem for spectral targets that are at all faint. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 May 12 [5:01:59]
