MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Nov 14 Observer(s): Jules Halpern Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Templeton Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Don't believe the fake news. I am the actual 1.3m remote observer. This was the final night of an excellent run. The telescope tracked very well in both axes. There was no nodding. Of course, the winds being light must have helped. The focus was very good, the images round. Every night tracking the same stars, I saw the jump at the same hour angle, which was reassuring. (The HA of the jump is a function of declination, however, but we already knew that). ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Nov 15 [6:13:55] NOTE: This report replaces the previous 1.3m telescope observing report for 2021 Nov 14
