MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Oct 03 Observer(s): Thorstensen+students Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Templeton direct Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: High clouds, often opaque, blowing through from the southwest, all night long. There were quite a few usable intervals, but mostly very poor. Two students showed up at my office early in the morning to take pictures for their observing lab, and they were blessed with one of the longer clear-ish intervals. The seeing was not bad, when one could see. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Oct 4 [5:46:53]
