MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Oct 14 Observer(s): Keighley Rockcliffe, Aylin Garcia Soto Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: MODSPEC Worked for 12 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We opened the 1.3m dome around 6pm to take twilight skyflats. After that, we took comparison lamp and bias exposures. We observed a standard star for calibration purposes. We observed a handful of high proper motion stars until 22:50. We moved on to observing two M dwarfs that we observed the previous night. Towards the end of the night, we encountered poor seeing, so we decided to monitor one of the brightest stars in our target list. We took comparison lamp exposures two more times throughout the night, once in the middle and once at the end. We closed the 1.3m dome around 5:45. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Oct 15 [5:59:17]
