MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Oct 18 Observer(s): Keighley Rockcliffe, Aylin Garcia Soto Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: MODSPEC Worked for 0.5 hours (first half of the night) Bad weather most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity all night. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We took several MIS flats. We paid close attention to the rising humidity. We opened the 1.3m dome briefly to see if skyflats were possible, but the humidity was rising quickly enough that we closed the dome. After that we took more MIS flats. The humidity remained high all night (>95%), so we did not open or take any more observations. The 2.4m dewar was accidentally left on and when it was discovered, there was no more liquid nitrogen left in the tank. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Oct 19 [5:28:36] NOTE: This report replaces the previous 1.3m telescope observing report for 2021 Oct 18
