MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2021 Oct 22 Observer(s): Keighley Rockcliffe, Aylin Garcia Soto Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: MODSPEC Worked for 13 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: We opened the 1.3m dome at 17:20 to take skyflats, which were successfully obtained. We took comparison lamp observations and MIS flats. We observed a standard star around 19:30 and started observing our targets at 20:00. The moon was very bright and near our targets, which contaminated some of our spectra. We experienced some telescope movement because of wind which may have also effected some observations. We finished the night by taking observations of another standard star and more comparison lamp observations. We closed the 1.3m dome at 06:00. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2021 Oct 23 [6:00:14]
