MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2022 Jan 13 Observer(s): Aylin Garcia Soto, Keighley Rockcliffe Institution(s): Dartmouth College Instrument: MODSPEC Worked for 14 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 2:00 until 5:30. Beg: Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Aylin Garcia Soto opened the dome around 17:00 to take skyflats. She started observing targets at 18:45. Conditions were good until 02:00 MST (09:00 UTC). The targets were difficult to find and place in the slit. The clouds left around 03:00 MST, but came back at 04:00 MST for Keighley Rockcliffe's portion of the night. The clouds had mostly left by 05:15 MST, but it was still a bit difficult to find a guide star. The rest of the morning went well, with some minor jittering of the telescope, probably due to pointing into a mild wind. The dome was closed at 07:00 MST. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2022 Jan 14 [7:05:19]
