MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2022 Jun 06 Observer(s): Donghoon Son Institution(s): SNU Instrument: TEmpleton Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: The sky was very fine. No problem in target observation. At the end of the night, I met 2 issues. (1) When I slewed to Zenith (ha=0 dec=31:57:12), the telescope moved to the wrong position. I moved to ha=0 dec=48, then the telescope headed almost real Zenith. Then I adjusted using paddle and then I did 'zero ~' using LST. (2) Due to the 'rain' warning in the TCS, I could not close the dropleaf/slit. I tried telescope stop/start, TCS quit/open a few times, Then I could close dome. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2022 Jun 7 [5:15:36]
