MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2022 Mar 03

Worked for 4 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds all night.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Clear, Winds High
   End: Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Elisabeth Newton was not able to observe during the first hour after sunset due to clouds. Elisabeth Newton was able to open the telescope and get some observations between 20:00 and 24:00, although these were impacted by patchy clouds and wind causing jitter. The telescope was closed around 24:00 due to high winds. Keighley Rockcliffe took over around 02:00, but the high wind warning was still in effect, with the gusts in particular being threatening to observations. Keighley Rockcliffe monitored the wind for the rest of the night, but was unable to reopen the telescope.
