MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2023 Sep 09

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Mostly clear, but with clouds blowing over from south 
interfering from time to time.  Quinn Casey observed galaxies
until 2 AM, then Thorstensen did a time series. 

We had one problem, namely that the dec froze early in the night,
which (after consulting with Eric) we solved by cycling the 
power to the dec drive.  This is a known issue, not worth a 
trouble report, but unfortunately could be a show-stopper for
a remote observer.
