MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2023 Sep 20 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Templeton Direct Worked for 11 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: A very good night -- a little cloud around at start, but it swept off to the northeast early on and it was clear from then on. Nicole at the 2.4m contacted me around midnight to say they were having some trouble with wind, but I never saw any high readings and I was working mostly in the northwest, while the wind was apparently from the east. Seeing wasn't especially good but was more than adequate for the time-series photometry I was doing. It was nice to work from home! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2023 Sep 21 [5:51:55]
