MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Apr 15 Observer(s): Jules Halpern Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Templeton Worked for 8 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 2.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: The night started off with excellent seeing and excellent tracking. Around 9:40pm a thick cirrus surprise, together with the bright moon, resulted in the loss of about 2 hours. Toward the end of the night the seeing blew up to almost 5 arcseconds for a while.
