MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Apr 22 Observer(s): Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Templeton direct Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Tracked some time-series targets. Everything worked well, except I lost guiding once unexpectedly and lost a little time. There was a bit of wind shake at the start of the night but this didn't cause any trouble later. The seeing was mostly pretty good, too. It was, however, very bright, being exactly two weeks after the eclipse! Thanks to the staff for accommodating this at such short notice. Hopefully it will be useful data! ------------------------------ Submitted on 2024 Apr 23 [5:45:52]
