MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jan 17

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1+ arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Unpromising at start, with lots of high cloud around, some of it
opaque, but it cleared off pretty quickly (as judged under moon,
it didn't just get dark).  The second half was clear with good
seeing. Rather windy at first, with occasional wind shake.
