MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2024 Jul 10

Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:

Observing Summary:

The night started with KPNO closed due to smoke/dust.
Justin and I couldn't really figure out how significant
this is; it's often a difficult call.
Nevertheless, I took some quick sky flats.  Almost
immediately a thick cloud came over, so I closed.
Justin reported that a strong rain followed.  But the
KPNO status never changed from smoke/dust.  After a
couple of hours the sky cleared, but I never reopened
because the claimed smoke/dust condition is still posted,
even though by now the domes should be dry.
