MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Feb 03 Observer(s): David Schiminovich, Nathan Bush, Institution(s): Columbia, JPL Instrument: CMOS Test Cam (w/ CIS120) Worked for 7 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: First night on-sky with a CMOS on-sky test camera for MDM developed with JPL (as part of a NASA Strategic Astrophysics Technology program). Device interfaced easily with 4 filter wheel,worked well and is well-placed at telescope focus (pos. 708). It was slightly though slightly beyond reach of guider position for Templeton.
