MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Jan 21

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

A few bits of cloud early but generally clear, with mediocre --
but usable -- seeing.  No problems. I spent some time on the phone
debugging a 2.4m pointing problem with Justin -- the encoders had
been off several arcmin, for some reason.  Justin reset them
not with the telescope about an hour west near +45 deg west, and
hopefully that worked for the rest of the night.
