MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2026 Jan 09 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Templeton direct Worked for 7 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from start until 21:30. Beg: Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds High Observing Summary: At start mostly clear, cold, breezy, with scraps of fog blowing overhead and humidity too high to open. Around 9:30 the humidity dropped quickly to well below the limit, so I opened and worked on a single target until 4:40 or so when it was going to hit the west limit. By now the wind had picked up considerably, the seeing was poor, and I didn't have compelling targets remaining, so I closed up and filled the dewar. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2026 Jan 10 [6:30:00]
