MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2026 Jan 19 Observer(s): Jules Halpern Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Templeton Worked for 12.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: A bit of clouds at times, but otherwise a good night. I did have trouble getting the dropleaf to close at the end, but it turns out that the main slit might not have been quite at the top. It took a few more seconds for me to open it completely, which then allowed the dropleaf to close. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2026 Jan 20 [7:08:15]
