MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Jul 04 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Templeton direct Worked for 0.1 hours (part of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: No rain this afternoon, and looked as if it might clear. High cloud at sunset, but a clear hole went overhead around 9 PM so I opened very briefly, since I had a time-series photometry target I really wanted. In classic sucker-hole fashion, it immediately clouded up once I was set up, and the humidity rose to skirt with the limit, so I closed right up again. I had to leave before 3 AM to catch a flight. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2025 Jul 5 [4:50:03]
