MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Dec 08

Worked for 10 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the summary for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate

Observing Summary:

Seeing relatively good, about 1 arsec all night.  

Problems: sometimes when telescope slews, it causes the 
filter wheel on Echelle to start spinning.  Also changing 
filters causes this.  To fix this problem, reinitiate the 
MIS filter control, until you can hear it stop spinning.  I had
to do this several times each time it happened.
