MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2000 Dec 22

Instrument: RETROCAM + CCDS

Worked for 7 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 23:30 until end.
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Overcast, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Start of long  Queue  run.  Used RETROCAM only.  Will use both
CCDS and RETROCAM tomorrow.

Late start because telescope was still  pinned .  Lost about
30 minutes when sky flats should have been acquired.

Observed some SNe, lensed QSOS, and lens candidates.

Partly cloudy most of the night, increasing after midnight.
Gave up at 4:00 am.
