Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 0.7 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Light cirrus, but otherwise good conditions. The relay system on the main dome shutter didn't seem to be working very well tonight. I had to hold down the main shutter button to open and close the shutter. Also, the electrical contact didn't seem very reliable at the end of the night. I had to re-seat the dome at the home position several times to get power to close the dome. Obs: NIR spectra of SNe. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2001 May 1 [4:54:24]
