MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Dec 22

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1  arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.2  arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.3  arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Had short period of .9  seeing at beginning of night, 
deteriorated as the night progressed.  Thin clouds briefly 
covered sky during middle of night, but were gone in less 
than an hour. Exceedingly dry, very nice after last night's disappoinment

Got M31 and deep images of X-ray counterparts

Dome sporadically lazy, didn't track during exposures causing slight 
occultation during long exposures.
