MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Feb 16 Observer(s): Jacob Noel-Storr Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 12.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, Poor transparency Mid: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, Poor transparency End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable, Poor transparency Observing Summary: 'Scope and Instrument working fine. Sky conditions not cooperating a lot... lots of haze/cirrus on the horizon for most of the night, and poor sky transparency and seeing in general. Seeing probably worse than listed during exposures judging by the changes in the stars on the guider screen. At least it wasn't humid or snowing ;-) ------------------------------ Submitted on 2001 Feb 17 [7:00:39]
