Bad weather most of the night.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity all night.

Observing Summary:

In the past nights with bad weather, we've taken calibration
data with the CCDS almost constantly. At 9:30pm while taking
data the connection with the IE was lost, though data were
still appearing (although often subtlely corrupted). IC computer
complained that `port 7 is not available'. Eventually the
prospero status window showed that IE was down and Prospero
hung with timeout complaints. At the kind help of both Mark 
Wagner and Rick Pogge communication with the IE computer was 
recovered the following way (`recover' tasks didnot help):

	> ic uartinit  (this clears the communications link)
        > ie status
         (a correct status of each instrument subunit was
          now shown)
	> startup

Pospero has worked without problems since.
