MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Mar 18 Observer(s): J. Pinkney Institution(s): U. Michigan Instrument: MODSPEC Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Generally, a good night, with at least the first part photometric and times of good seeing. The biggest weather problem was the wind, which made the effective seeing bad during parts of the night. The slit disappeared again for awhile. Going north and moving the Finder in and out brought it back. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2001 Mar 19 [6:08:07]
